The services are such an important part of Family Camp. They are held in the Titan building; a Cover All building that has been set up for heating and air conditioning. Praise God for that. It was so hot this year. If you look close you'll see how Mark spruced it up. Using his favorite medium, black electrical tape, Mark wrote "He lives" behind the stage. Very clever. There were six services in all. The Saturday morning service was dedicated to those who serve as missionaries. Wayne and Norma Rupp told how God used them in Bulgaria last October. Jerry Farabough told how he's been traveling to the flooded areas of the midwest with Samaritans Purse. Randall Lipson, Timber Lakes Camp Administrater, introduced his new crew which included two college, summer interns. And David and Grace McBryars are missionaries to Hungary and back in the US on furlough. Ed Belsan, Robert Palmer, Tim Bauer, Mark and Rev. Larry Secor each taught. Mark, Ed and Jack Chase took turns leading worship. It was an encouraging time. Rev. Secor shared that this was his 72nd camp meeting in a row. Wow! Family Camp is a wonderful time of drawing closer to God and to good friends.
